In this emblematic venue, the work of Mexican Arroyo Calavera is exhibited in an atmosphere of poetry and art.

Among the reading of poetry about death written by Mexican poets, we will be able to appreciate the exquisitely crafted work in the hands of the artist.

In Mexico, death and the skull as its representation have a multiple meaning that is culturally enriched thanks to diversity and the passage of time.

On Tuesday, October 31, 2023, within the framework of the Day of the Dead festivities, the plastic artist Perla Arroyo – accompanied by the reading of poetry around death, with verses by Nezahualcóyotl, Octavio Paz, Xavier Villaurrutia and Aurora Reyes, among others, will demonstrate this syncretism through the sculpture exhibition “Mexican Skull. Symbol of life.”

We took on the task of making this video as a record of the event to be able to share the cultural experience with the entire public.
