In the vibrant heart of Mexico City, a festival awaits—an event that defies all conventions of what we know as a celebration. Welcome to DOT.DAYNIGHT 2023, the festival that not only redefines but completely reimagines our traditions and immerses us in an unprecedented multisensory journey!
As part of this festival’s inaugural edition in 2023, CASA DOT, in collaboration with El Cuarto de Máquinas, Galería Enrique Guerrero, art promoter Ricardo Reyes, Perla Gálvez, and Víctor Mendoza of Galería Hilario Galguera, presents “All We Ever Wanted Was Everything.” The exhibition’s curatorial concept is to create a contemporary vision of the Day of the Dead that goes beyond the mainstream and returns to the Anáhuac perspective, where elements of the ancient pre-Hispanic worldview are combined with new forms of fire, water, earth, and wind.
This group exhibition opened on November 2, 2023, and ran through December 4 of that same year at 79 Chapultepec Avenue, Colonia Centro, Mexico City.
